It is a wireless system for transmitting information by digital means. It serves to guide tourist and pilgrimage groups. The guide equipped with a transmitter with a microphone is perfectly heard by a group with receivers. It is increasingly used for international conferences, guided tours of production halls and simultaneous interpreting. The guide does not have to strain their voice so that every participant can hear their message.
Audio guide is a system with automatically uploaded recording, which is used mainly in museums. We can play a pre-recorded presentation on the device, while the tour guide is a system in which the presence of a guide is necessary, which will provide us with live information. It is worth noting, however, that our tour guide devices go a step further. By using the AUX cable you can play a previously prepared soundtrack or presentation from a separate carrier, e.g. from a phone or a laptop. (When renting, please include this information – we add the cable at no extra charge).

Oltravel devices are the latest models available on the market, which means that they operate based on a digital signal, there is no sound distortion as in the case of analogue or radio receivers. There is crystal clear transmission quality and signal stability, there is no sound fading, which can be bothersome with other devices.
Oltravel equipment is the most modern because apart from the digital, crystalline sound reception it has a number of additional qualities, such as:
- built-in battery, so you do not have to worry about replacing the battery, or carry extra kilos on trips
- range of up to 200m
- devices operate on 20 channels
- it is possible to connect an external audio source
- devices are small, light and intuitive
- the battery lasts up to 36 hours of use
- charging takes up to 4 hours
Not directly on the device, but with the help of the AUX cable you can connect a computer or telephone to the transmitter and use these external media to play the presentation prepared earlier.
Two or even three people can speak at the Multiguide set simultaneously. In the ATC system, however, only one person can guide a given channel. It is always possible to divide a group into two and show two people at the same time, but on two different channels. If we have one group, and we absolutely want two people to lead the event, this can be done alternately (only one transmitter can be turned on at a given channel – when the second person wants to turn on, the first must turn off their transmitter). After a long time it can be bothersome, so it’s best to choose a Multiguide set.
